Is There Surgery to Get Taller?

Possible risks of limb-lengthening surgery

There are risks involved with invasive surgeries like limb lengthening. Anesthesia-related responses, bleeding, and infections particularly at the pin sites are a few of these.

According to a review of the literature on bone-lengthening surgical techniques and results, up to 100% of patients who have leg-lengthening surgery encounter some sort of issue, but the majority don’t have serious complications.

The possibility exists that the surgery won’t be successful because the bones won’t heal properly. Some patients might also recover so that their bones are not perfectly straight.
