Occupation

In most situations where individual works can cause osteoarthritis, hobbies are also another factor. Osteoarthritis caused by occupation is gradual and almost unnoticeable; the symptoms begin to show after some years. Engaging in activities such as; kneeling, physical labour, climbing stairs and squatting consistently without adequate exercise and rest leads to this form of arthritis. The joints that are mostly degenerated from these activities are hands, knees, feet and hip joints. Regular checkup is advised, and tenderness on the joints should be reported quickly to a medical doctor.
