Carpal tunnel syndrome is a medical condition that involves damage or injury to the nerves in the wrist. Trigger finger may develop as a complication following surgery [9] to deal with this problem. Dupuytren’s contracture [10] is a condition that causes one or more of the fingers to bend inwards, towards the palm.
The mechanics of trigger finger are well understood. Many things can cause the condition to develop and not all of them are preventable. If you develop the condition, seek medical treatment on time to prevent the condition from worsening.
