Concussion Signs and Symptoms

Headache

Headache is the number one and most common symptom of concussion. A sign of a concussion is when one starts to develop a headache or migraine. The pain is mainly described as a pounding, or throbbing pain usually felt in front of the head area (Forehead). Headache as a sign of concussion happens either after a while you must have had the impact or immediately. In the case where it is immediate, the headaches might last for just some hours or days and should resolve themselves shortly after proper rest and treatment. If it is a post-concussion headache, then you might be in for a treat of at least three months of headache. It would be best if you immediately visit your doctor.
