7 Treatment Options for Cataracts

Using Sunglasses

Ultraviolet light from the sun may contribute to the development of cloudy vision. Wear sunglasses that block ultraviolet B rays when you’re outdoors during the day. Make sure your eyeglasses or contact lenses are the most accurate prescription possible. Use a magnifying glass to read if you need additional help reading.

Alcohol Reduction

Alcohol consumption adds up to the chances of developing cataracts, the more the intake of alcohol, the higher the risk of cataracts formation. [7] Alcohol intake can also have a temporary effect on vision, it may cause temporal blurred vision or double vision which happens as a result of its intoxication. Reducing your alcohol intake will help limit the chance and risk of developing cloudy vision.
