Allergic Cough
This is an allergy of any genesis and any kind. Up to a single inhalation of any irritant can cause the development of dry cough.
The inhalation or aspiration [5] of small objects is a less common cause but also related to persistent dry cough, especially in young children, who tend to put everything in front of their nose or mouth. Seeds, flower petals, and small parts of toys can be attached to respiratory trees and cause a dry cough before triggering an infection
Smoking and Environmental Condition
Smoking is a very obvious cause. It can be a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and it is worse than bronchial asthma because it is more difficult to treat. A prolonged dry cough can occur due to the irresponsibility of the patient themselves – it could be an incompletely cured cold, self-medication, taking expectorant drugs at the first manifestations of the disease, etc.
