Symptoms of Hearing Loss

Most people eventually lose their hearing as they age. They might not even be conscious of it. Generally speaking, you might be experiencing hearing loss if:
- You tend to frequently ask people to repeat themselves.
- You assume that people are murmuring.
- You find it difficult to follow conversations, particularly while speaking on the phone or in a busy setting like a restaurant.
- Certain high-pitched sounds, such as birdsong, are inaudible.
- You must increase the volume on your computer, tablet, or television.
- You experience vertigo or balance issues.
- Your ears are ringing, which is called tinnitus.
- You feel pain in your ear (earache).
- You get a pressure or fluid sensation inside your ear.
