Manuka Honey

Honey is produced from bees using nectar from flowers. It has a potential therapeutic role in treating inflammatory conditions. It also acts as an antimicrobial and antioxidant substance. Various studies show that applying honey to the skin helps treat symptoms of eczema. A 2014 study showed that applying manual honey to the skin does not improve the symptoms of eczema. However, a 2017 study proved the 2014 study wrong and showed that manuka honey can help treat eczema. You can mix olive oil, beeswax, and honey to your skin to reduce the symptoms of both atopic dermatitis [4] and psoriasis vulgaris [5].
