Stage 4
The damage done to the kidney has become advanced. The kidneys are only around 15 to 29 percent efficient [7], so you will be building up a lot of waste and toxins in your body. Even at this graves stage, the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention says that about 48 percent [8] of affected people still don’t know they have kidney disease. The symptoms resemble those in stage 3.
If you have stage 4 kidney disease, you’ll likely be needing a dialysis or kidney transplant soon. You must see a nephrologist (kidney disease specialist) so that it does not progress into total failure.
