If you wake up one morning and you know you have an important exam to write later that day, it is completely normal to be nervous or anxious about the exam. Again it’s only a sign that you are human. You might have a racing heart and your stomach might churn. A feeling of unrest and continuous pondering on your possible result. You realize that when the rest is over you are likely more relaxed and physically back to normal.
On the other hand, if you wake up one morning and, for no reason, you begin to have the thought that something bad is going to happen to a loved one, think about it all day, and then continue to have intrusive thoughts about it the next day, then that may be a sign of an anxiety disorder [4]. An anxiety disorder is often characterized by excessive and hard-to-control worry that occurs for most of the day, more days than not.
It might also consist of significant physical signs of anxiety like headaches, fatigue [5], muscle pain, trouble sleeping and digestive problems.
