Common Causes of Memory Loss

Stroke

A stroke happens when the supply of blood to the brain is interrupted due to a blood vessel to the brain being blocked or a vessel leaking into the brain. Apparent changes in a person’s ability to think, move and reason normally can be as a result of a stroke that has blocked major blood vessels of the brain. Problems with the memory which are mild can also develop slowly after silent strokes that tamper with smaller blood occur. The changes in brain function which ranges from mild to severe is known as vascular coordinative impairment [4].
