Hot Flashes Signs & Symptoms

Increased Perspiration in the Upper Body

Perspiration refers to the process of sweating. A person may sweat a lot more than normal when they are in a room with a warm temperature or a hot place. Hence, during hot flashes, a person may experience increased perspiration as a result of the sudden heat their body feels and in response to the change in recent body temperature.

A Cooling Feeling When the Flash Subsides

After a while, one’s body would naturally calm down in temperature or may even chill up a little. This usually occurs after a few seconds or minutes during the flash and it usually signifies the ending of such hot flashes. This marks the body returning to its normal temperature and trying to maintain it.
