5 Main Symptoms of Septicemia

Low urine volume

Low urine output, otherwise known as the medical term oliguria [5], is considered a severe and alarming symptom that could mean many extreme medical conditions. Infections are considered one of the major causes of low urine output.

Septicemia, which is a severe bacterial infection, is, therefore, a typical cause of oliguria.  Low urine volume reduces the blood flow to your organs and can cause the body to shock.

This symptom of Septicemia [6] occurs as one of the late stages of the disease and could be very hard to cure at this stage.

Vomiting and Nausea

Vomiting is an impulse or uncontrollable action that causes one to throw up content from the stomach through the mouth. And nausea is the uncomfortable and not so good feeling that happens when you feel like you want to vomit but are not vomiting.

This symptom is also part of the first stages of Septicemia, where one could still not know that they are suffering from such disease and think it is a minor ailment.
