Previously received Antibiotics or Corticosteroids

Exposure to antibiotics during hospitalization can increase the risk of sepsis or septic shock. When the condition is due to antibiotics, it can be called antibiotic resistance. Doctors need antibiotics to treat infections that may result in sepsis, but this medication can be overused, which causes resistance.
According to the World Health Organization [5], antibiotic infections are a significant threat. Antibiotic resistance is commonly known to be due to MRSA, which is called methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Researchers continue to look out for a new antibiotic, and there’s a real concern about the mutation of the bacteria.
Generally, there are several adverse effects of antibiotics. Examples include loss of vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and bloating or indigestion.
