Headaches
In addition to the fever in strep throat, patients can also present with headaches. There’s a general malaise in strep throat that patients also experience body aches and weakness. While other causes of strep throat may cause flu-like symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, etc strep throat doesn’t cause all these.
Nausea
Children have a poor appetite and feel nauseous when they have strep throat. Nausea generally is a feeling of stomach discomfiture. It makes people feel like they are about to vomit.
Vomiting
Vomiting in this infection is commonly seen in children. It occurs in association with other symptoms such as body aches, fever, body weakness, etc.
