It is possible for one to not know that they have BV. In fact about 84% of people with bacterial vaginosis don’t have symptoms. If you think you have BV some of the symptoms to watch out for include:

  • Fishy-smelling vaginal discharge, especially after sex.
  • Off-white, gray or greenish-colored vaginal discharge.
  • Itching or irritation of the vaginal
  • A burning feeling when you urinate

The symptoms you experience due to BV are similar to other infections. It is important to visit a doctor for proper diagnosis, to determine your exact condition and the way forward.
