Vaginitis is observed during normal regular gynecological exams.
Symptoms of vaginitis manifest in various ways, depending on the factor responsible for the vaginal infection. In some cases, no symptoms are seen. Examples of symptoms, when seen are:
- vaginal discharge that may have an odor
- itching or Inflammation of the vulva
- Pains when urinating
- pain or discomfort when having sex
