8 Common Symptoms of Yeast Infection

Pain When Urinating

The pain individuals experience when urinating can be expressed as a burning sensation, and usually, women with the condition may feel the need to urinate more frequently. Painful urination could be due to various other causes apart from the yeast infection.

One of the most typical causes of pain when urinating is the UTI, which results from a bacterial infection and may be due to the urinary tract’s inflammation. Note that women who are pregnant or menopausal have a higher tendency to develop UTI.

The pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is another common cause of pain while urinating apart from the yeast infection. It affects the fallopian tubes, cervix, uterus, and ovaries and causes pain in the abdomen and painful urination. Ensure you consult the doctor with immediate effect if pain while urinating is observed.
