Deadlift Helps Build Core Strength

Study has shown that deadlifting helps build your core strength. This is because if you attempt to deadlift without having a very strong core, your torso will collapse.
Crunches and other movements that involve the spine’s flexion and extension are what most people think of when they think about core strengthening exercises [5]. In actuality, the torso’s fundamental purpose of the core is to stiffen and compress in order to prevent movement.
When performing a deadlift, the entire core, particularly the back and obliques, must fend off a powerful force that is attempting to pull the torso over. Know that once you can deadline your body weight, your torso can handle any stress out on it.
