Fish

Fish is generally known to contain the omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oils affects leptin (this is a hormone present in the body responsible for regulating the metabolism rate). Eating some particular type of fish such as salmon, tuna, sardines, mackerel [9], and trout has proven to boost metabolism by as much as 350 – 400 calories per day. Another easier way to boost your metabolism is adding more lean protein into your balanced diet in which fish is an excellent source, as protein speeds up the body metabolism by around 15 – 30%, unlike the eating of crabs which only increases it by 5 – 10% and eating of fat by only 0 – 3%.
