Does Wi-Fi Cause Cancer?

Animal research

In most cases, studies done to evaluate the association between cancer and Wi-Fi involve animals. Also, the studies have not given a definite answer. According to research, oxidative stress can make you more likely to develop cancer. In 2015, an animal study showed that the uteruses of rats experience induced stress when exposed to Wi-Fi for a long period.

Also, a study review done in 2018 showed that prolonged exposure to Wi-Fi decreases the potency of antioxidant enzymes [2], which help treat oxidative stress. It is important to note that the results of these researches don’t say Wi-Fi causes cancer in people. More research needs to be done to understand how this happens.
