Does Wi-Fi Cause Cancer?

Can Wi-Fi cause other health conditions?

Scientists cannot confirm if Wi-Fi can lead to other health conditions, because most research was done on animals, and the results were different.

According to science, Wi-Fi may lead to the following:

Male infertility

In 2014, an animal study showed that prolonged exposure to Wi-Fi radiation negatively affects the reproductive ability of male rats. In 2016, an animal study showed that radiation released from Wi-Fi negatively affects the DNA in the testes of rats.

In 2015, scientists studied the sperm motility of over 1,000 men. They asked them questions about their cell phones and Wi-Fi. The Scientists discovered that the sperm motility in men who used Wi-Fi was lower than in men who didn’t.

Scientists do not know the mechanism behind the results. Also, the study did not check if the men were smokers. Smoking may reduce sperm motility [3].
