How to Place Your Child under Medicare Coverage

The processes involved in enrolling your child in Medicare depend on what makes your child eligible. If a child is qualified due to a disability and is between ages 20 and 22, they can be enrolled after getting 2 years of SSDI payments. The enrollment details and Medicare card will be sent in the mail. The child can also enroll in Medicare Part D, Medigap, and Medicare advantage after they receive a mail.
Conclusion
A child is qualified for Medicare if they are between 20 and 22 years old or have ESRD. Children with SSDI are also eligible for Medicare. Also, a child must have a parent who gets Social retirement benefits or has received Social Security work credits in 3 years.
