Bengal
Bengals look like wild cats, especially because of the markings on their fur. They are the only domestic cats with the type of rosette markings that is typically similar with the coats of wildcats, such as leopards and ocelots. They get their name from the Asian leopard cat, whose name is Prionailurus bengalensis.
These cats were originally bred from both wild and domestic cats. Despite this, Bengals can be domesticated. It is likely that Bengals you get from breeders are those who are at least four generations removed from their wild relatives. Bengals are active cats that enjoy, among many other activities, playing with water. They are quite intelligent and highly trainable.
Bengals normally weigh around 8 to 15 pounds. [2] They reach heights as tall as 16 inches and can live up to 16 years. Although they come in many colors, these cats are most common in the brown tabby pattern.
