May Treat Some Skin Conditions

Over the years, argan oil has been a popular remedy for treating inflammatory skin disorders, especially in North Africa, where argan trees grow. There may not be enough scientific evidence to support the effects of argan oil on skin conditions, but it is still used for this purpose.
Recent studies show that argan oil contains various antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds, which help treat skin disorders.
May Promote Wound Healing
Studies show that Argan oil helps with wound healing. An animal study showed that a large increase in wound healing occurred in rats that were given argan oil on their second-degree burns. The oil was applied twice every day for two weeks. While this study may not prove anything, it shows that argan oil plays a role in tissue repair and wound healing.
