Muscle Cramp
Muscle cramps are sudden and involuntary contractions of one or more muscles in the body. This condition usually occurs when the muscles in the calf get tight. When muscle cramps occur, it causes very sharp pain, and it’s possible to feel a hard lump of muscle under the skin.
Cramps occur as individuals get older, and it may also occur when in hot weather. In some cases, athletes and other individuals experience muscle cramps when they drink low amounts of water. Fortunately, cramps disappear on their own, and there aren’t obvious signs of any health condition.
