Choose Whole Fruit Instead of Juice

Go for the fruit instead of the juice. People generally drink more juice and as a result consume more calories and sugar than they would by simply eating fruit. The whole apple also provides additional fiber. For instance, a giant orange has roughly 4 grams whereas 8 ounces of juice only have about 1 gram. What this means is that the juice does not have the required quantity of nutrients that the fruit has. Juice is acceptable in moderation but shouldn’t be your primary beverage. When you do consume it, serve it in a juice glass (which could carry 4 ounces, for instance) rather than a sizable cup.
