Walking after Meals

Do not be too quick to wash the dishes after eating, instead get up and take a stroll. According to a 2018 study [4] that appeared in Medical Science Monitor, type 2 diabetic patients who walked for 20 minutes after dinner at a slow to moderate speed significantly lowered their blood sugar levels. According to another study, the walk-it-off method is particularly effective after eating a meal high in carbohydrates, especially in the evening. When you exercise, you enhance the ability of your cells to eliminate glucose from your bloodstream and your insulin sensitivity is improved.
Get your shoes ready and be very intentional about it. If the weather doesn’t look good, walk inside your home for only 10 minutes, whether in front of the TV or any open space.
