Brown Rice

Studies show that brown rice is better than white rice for regulating blood glucose levels. It has more fibers than white rice. It also contains more than 40 grams of carbohydrates in 1 cup that can easily be broken down into glucose and increase blood glucose spike. It is important to note that only ⅓ cup of rice is one carbohydrate exchange (or 15 grams of carbs). It would help to manage your portion size of carb to avoid a spike in your blood sugar. You can try consuming more vegetables such as cauliflower if you want to control your carb intake.
Nasal Sprays
Some nasal sprays have chemicals that make the liver release a high amount of sugar into the bloodstream resulting in high blood glucose levels.
Gum Disease
Studies show that gum diseases can increase blood glucose level and lead to complications in diabetes.
