There are many specialists that can be in the room during delivery. Pediatricians are always present to give proper care to the baby after delivery. Neonatologist [6] help doctors to care for at-risk newborns. Assistant surgeons are also present during cesarean births. Medical students, nursing students, residents in OB, family practice and so many other specialists are present in a delivery room.
