Echinacea and Salt Water

To treat the common cold, you can mix one-quarter teaspoon of salt with 9 ounces of warm water in a cup and gargle it; what this does is reduce the sore throat signs tentatively. A deductible amount of fluid in the throat causes inflamed tissues that lead to injuries and inflammation of the throat. Consumption of Salt solution helps to collect these excess fluids and decrease the pain resulting from the inflamed tissues. It also helps to loosen conjugated mucus making it less difficult to remove.
