Dengue Shock Syndrome
Dengue shock syndrome (DSS) is another very severe form of dengue fever and can also be fatal. Some of the symptoms of DSS include:
- Severe stomach pain
- Disorientation
- Heavy bleeding
- Constant vomiting
- Low blood pressure [4]
- Blood vessels leaking fluid
DSS should be treated with utmost emergency. If not, it can lead to death.
