Do Jumping Spiders Bite? Here’s How To Treat It

Where do jumping spiders live?

Jumping spiders are commonly found in outdoor environments with numerous vegetation and sunlight. They are found in prairies and grassland. They are rarely found inside a home. They feed on cotton leaf worms, mosquitoes, bollworms, cotton flea hoppers, and webworms.

In rare cases, jumping spiders may gain access to enclosed buildings by sticking to clothes or plants. They usually infest drapery folds, between bookshelves and books, beneath furniture, crack found in wooden floors, window molding, and door molding.

Jumping spiders can also be found between leaves and beneath loose bark outside. Other types of insects are attracted to windows and doors of a building, so jumping spiders are always drawn to these areas.
