Clothing

You should stay away from tight, restrictive or dull clothing which may increase body heat and impede air circulation around the skin. Synthetic fibers may also trap heat and stop sweat from evaporating. This can bring unnecessary warmth and increased sweating.
Other Causes
Fever may be caused by other factors associated with hormones, especially in women. Hot flashes in both perimenopause and menopause can make you feel hot and flushed, while also making you sweat at night.
Pregnancy and menstrual cycle may also make you feel more feverish than usual. Several drugs may elevate the chances of having heat intolerance, examples are:
- Antibiotics
- Cancer drugs, including chemotherapy
- Antihistamines
- Decongestants
- Heart disease drugs
- Anti-nausea drugs
- Thyroid hormone replacements
- Medications for high blood pressure
