H. Pylori Meal Plans: Foods to Eat and Avoid

Fried Foods

Pylori affects the mucosa of your stomach and increases your risk of developing stomach cancers. Consuming foods fried at high temperatures can also disrupt the integrity of this protective layer of your gut.

Avoid consuming fried foods as much as you can if you have H. pylori as they increase the likelihood of ulcers forming in your gut. Fried foods like potato chips, fried chicken, French fries, and more should be limited or cut out from your diet.

Caffeinated Foods

Caffeinated foods, such as coffee and dark chocolate, can upset your stomach if you have stomach ulcer. If you want to continue indulging in them, you should treat your H. pylori infection first.
