Infections that Cause Food Poisoning

E. coli & Enteric Viruses

Coli used to be commonly linked with undercooked ground beef. However, recent studies have shown that it can occur in other places. According to experts, outbreaks of E. coli have been associated with a wide range of food, such as nuts, water, cookie dough, beef, fresh produce, and beef. Symptoms may include bloody diarrhea (sometimes), watery diarrhea, vomiting and nausea. The form of symptoms you experience depends on the E.Coli type.

Enteric viruses, also known as intestinal viruses, have several similarities as norovirus and hepatitis A. They are associated with an increasing number of food poisoning outbreaks. According to research, Moro viruses are the viruses that are often linked with the string of cruise ship outbreaks. Aside from diarrhea, another common symptom of the condition is vomiting. Norovirus [1] is also linked with a wide variety of food, such as shellfish.
