How Often Should You Shower?

There is no appropriate frequency, but doctors suggest that showering several times a week is plenty for most people (unless you are grimy, sweaty and have any other reason to shower more often). It is better to take short showers (lasting three or four minutes) – they allow you focus on areas of the body that produce odor such as armpits and groin.

People are exposed to irritants, environmental pollutants and pathogenic organisms every day. If these things are not washed away from our body it can cause skin infection. It is important to not use scrubs or exfoliation techniques more than once a week.
