Disturbed Vision

A disturbing vision doesn’t usually cause complete loss of eyesight. However, it can be significantly discomforting for the eyes. This condition may occur when an untreated B12 deficiency causes nervous system damage to the optic nerve that leads into the eyes.
The nervous system damage can disrupt the nervous signal that moves from the eyes to the brain, which affects the vision. This condition is called optic neuropathy, which causes eye pain that gets worse by eye movement.
If optic neuropathy is left untreated, it could result in colors appearing subtly washed out in the affected eye. Another name for optic neuropathy is optic atrophy, which describes most optic nerve fibers’ loss.
