Serious side effects
Serious side effects that result from using Faslodex may include:
- Allergy: Allergic reaction is a serious side effect that may develop in some people who are taking this drug for the first time. These reactions include swelling in your skin and tongue, problems with breathing, skin rash, etc. You should stop the drug immediately and visit your doctor or pharmacist if you develop any form of allergy to it.
- Increased liver enzymes: Sometimes, the drug might affect the liver’s function and this can raise the level of the liver enzymes in the blood. This raised level of enzyme is an indication of liver damage. Symptoms like jaundice [6] and abdominal pain are seen in this condition.
- Pain at the injection site: Faslodex is given via injections to the gluteal muscles [7] in your buttocks. If you experience severe pain at the site of the injection, you should complain to your doctor.
