Warnings

Before using this drug, it is important that you discuss the details of your medical history with your doctor. These details are important because there are a lot of warnings that come with using this drug. These warnings include:
- Taking Faslodex during pregnancy: It is not advisable to take Faslodex during pregnancy as it might affect your baby. So when you are on Faslodex, you should avoid getting pregnant. However, if you plan on getting pregnant, you should inform your doctor so that an alternative drug can be provided. It is important that you take at least a year after the last dose, before trying to get pregnant.
- History of bleeding disorder: If you have a bleeding disorder, you should talk to your doctor about it. Faslodex is given through injections, so a bleeding disorder like hemophilia [8] or thrombocytopenia [9] may delay blood clotting after injection. This might lead to uncontrollable bleeding. Your doctor will provide solutions to this problem.
- Taking Faslodex while breastfeeding: It is not advisable to be on Faslodex medication while breastfeeding a child. So, if you are a lactating mother, you should discuss it with your doctor so that solutions can be found.
- Liver disease: Taking Faslodex when you have a problem with your liver can be risky. As explained earlier, one of the side effects of Faslodex is increasing the level of liver enzymes in the blood. So, taking Faslodex can worsen your symptoms if you have a diseased liver.
