Rituxan is not administered every day. Your dosage will depend on your condition. It is important to follow your doctor’s instructions and use the drug as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor may give you other drugs before administering the injection to prevent certain side effects of rituximab. You may also have to undergo regular tests while using the drug.

Have you ever had hepatitis B? Taking Rituxan may cause the virus to become active or exacerbate. You may need to undergo regular function tests when using the drug and for a few months after the last dose. Tell your healthcare provider about other drugs that you’re taking before receiving the injection.
