Sprycel dosage

Several factors are considered before your doctor prescribes your Sprycel dosage. These factors include:

  • Other medical conditions you may have
  • The type and severity of the condition you’re using Sprycel to treat
  • Your age

In most cases, your doctor will start by prescribing low dosage. Then increase the dosage after a few weeks.

Sprycel comes in tablet form. You can get it in; 20 mg, 50 mg, 70 mg, 80 mg, 100 mg, and 140 mg.

Dosage for chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)

Adults diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in the first phase and are Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) will take 100 mg once a day.

The appropriate dosage in the second and most advanced stage of the condition is 140 mg per day.
