More common side effects
Some of the more common side effects if Tremfya include:
- Headaches
- Upper respiratory infections, including the throat and nose infections such as common cold
- Joint pain
- Injection site reactions (redness, swelling, or pain in the area injection was given)
- Higher levels of liver enzymes
- Diarrhea or gastroenteritis (stomach infection)
- Herpes simplex [7] infections, such as cold sores, fever blisters, and genital sores
- Tinea (fungal) infection, such as cold sores, genital sores, and fever blisters
These are mild side effects that may go away within a fews days or a couple of weeks. If they appear severe and are persistent, talk with your doctor or pharmacist.
