Side Effects
The usage of this medication may cause some unwanted side effects. Some of the side effects occur for a while, and once the body adjusts to the drug, the side effects go away. The effects are:
- Aching of muscles
- Heartburn
- Trouble in differentiating between colors green and blue
- Nose bleeding
- Dizziness
- Trouble sleeping
- Headaches
- Diarrhea [6]
- Seeing blue tinge on things
- Body pain
- Stomach pain
- Runny nose
- Abnormal vision
- Sensitivity to light
- indigestion
Some other side effects can be fatal and requires immediate medical attention; therefore, if any of these symptoms are noticed, go and see your doctor.
- Irregular heartbeat
- Seizures (convulsions)
- Swelling of hands, ankles, and feet
- Blurred vision or sudden loss of vision
- Painful erection or erection that lasts more than 4 hours (priapism)
- Heart attack [7]
- Fainting
- Burning during urination
- Rash
- Sudden loss of hearing
- Low blood pressure
- Allergic reactions include skin rash and swelling under the skin, mainly in the eyelids and lips.
