Uses of Vraylar
Your doctor will prescribe Vraylar to treat these mental health disorders:
- Mixed or manic episodes [5] in adults with bipolar I disorder
- Bipolar depression in adults with bipolar I disorder
- Schizophrenia [6] in adults
- Bipolar I disorder: It is usually accompanied by irregular changes in your behaviors and moods. When bipolar depression occurs in episodes it is known as depressive episodes and they usually last for 14 days.
Vraylar can also be used to treat periods of bipolar mania, also known as manic episodes. The episodes are usually accompanied by extreme energetic feelings that may last one week. The condition may worsen if proper treatment is not given.
