Procedure
The first thing you’ll be instructed to do is to remove any jewellery. In some cases, you’ll have to wear a hospital gown. The test is done at the hospital.
Your lying position depends on what part of your body is going to be examined. Generally, you are often asked to rest on your back on a table. However, you may also have to lie down on your side or even stand up.
Your healthcare provider may take x-rays from different parts of the body to confirm the condition. You may also be asked to change lying positions. It would help if you stayed in one position during the procedure. After a while, your doctor may ask you to hold your breath to stop any movement in the abdominal area.
