Signs and Symptoms of Autism

Lack of Coordination

Lack of coordination [4] or clumsiness is a common symptom of autism. However, the symptom is more prevalent in adults. Some examples of coordination issues include problems sitting or walking rightly. It could be hard to perform some fundamental tasks like tying a shoelace. Note that lack of coordination may occur due to problems that are unrelated to mental health. Individuals who are frequently distracted from their immediate environments may observe this condition. The medical condition used to describe muscle coordination problems is called ataxia. This illness may cause changes in speech, difficulty swallowing, and problems with motor tasks. Note that it’s important to see the doctor when the individual observes difficulty walking or losing balance.
