Anti-nausea Medication
Inner ear infections may cause symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. You can combat these symptoms [4] by using diphenhydramine (Benadryl). Anti-nausea medications and sedatives [5] you can use to relieve symptoms include prochlorperazine, lorazepam (Ativan), and diazepam (Valium).
Make sure not to overdose on these drugs. Discontinue using them if they do not provide any relief from your symptoms. You should also drink plenty of water if your infection causes vomiting so you do not get dehydrated. Rest also can help a lot.
