Diagnosing blindness
Your optometrist will conduct a thorough examination of the eye to help determine the cause of your blindness or partial loss of vision
There are series of test that your doctor will administer to measure:
- the clarity of your vision
- Your pupils reaction to light
- The function of your eye muscles
They’ll examine the general health of your eyes using a slit lamp. It’s a low-power microscope paired with a high-intensity light.
