Vitamin A Deficiency

Many people know vitamin A for its importance in eye health. Some people may experience dry eyes as a result of a deficiency in this vitamin [9]. Dry eyes is not the only eye health risk associated with a deficiency in this vitamin. It is important to make sure you consume foods rich in this vitamin to avoid this.
Foods that can give you vitamin A include fish, egg, spinach, carrot, broccoli, and pepper. You can test for a deficiency in this vitamin at a lab or in a hospital. If your vitamin A levels are normal and you still have dry eyes, the condition may be caused by something different.
